Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs Sergey Krivonosov discussed with the director of the shipbuilding company “Fortuna” Alexander Muravitsky the prospects for coastal passenger transportation.

During the meeting, the need was noted for organizing sea passenger traffic between Sochi and Anapa.
“The shipyard is able to provide high-quality vessels that will provide coastal communication of any direction, which is important for the region,” said Muravitsky.
The parties also discussed the possibility of state support for the operation of the constructed vessels, for example, on leasing terms. “The establishment of the coastal communication Sochi-Anapa, in my opinion, is quite possible within the framework of the creation of the SUE. This will provide adequate funding and help to solve the problem as soon as possible, ”said Krivonosov.
“Cooperation with the shipbuilding company Fortuna will also contribute to the development of the regional economy, creating new jobs and promoting the local brand in the market,” the parliamentarian said.
At the end of the meeting, the MP expressed his readiness to assist and further joint work, asking to prepare appropriate proposals from the company side.
